What You Should Know About Braces Treatment
There is no age limit for braces. As long as your teeth are healthy and dentally fit, you are a candidate for braces.
It all depends on the treatment plan Dr. Varble creates for you. Every treatment time is different but on average, treatment can take anywhere from 12- 36 months.
Take a little extra care when brushing and flossing to be sure your teeth are clean and free of food. An electric toothbrush works best and to floss, simply thread the floss underneath the archwire.
During treatment, avoid foods like popcorn and sticky candy. Slice foods like apples and avoid chewing ice.
Just like the treatment time, the cost of braces depends on your treatment plan and the amount covered by insurance. Our wonderful staff will make sure to cover all payment options with you before you begin treatment.
