About 30 minutes from arrival to plan in hand
You’ll meet Dr. Varble, get a full scan and exam, and leave with a clear path forward. Here’s how it flows.

Welcome & paperwork
1-3 Minutes
New patients are required to complete all intake forms prior to their scheduled appointment to help ensure a smooth, on-time check-in process. Text reminders are sent to parents/guardians by our front desk team in advance of the visit. Upon check-in, a records technician promptly escorts the patient from the lobby to begin the appointment

Digital scan & photos
5 Minutes
Digital scans and photographs are completed by our records technician within the first 8 minutes of the appointment, which includes approximately 3 minutes for the iTero scan itself. Once records are complete, the Treatment Coordinator brings the family into the TC room to discuss any questions or concerns prior to bringing in Dr. Varble.

Meet with Dr. Varble
10 minutes
Dr. Varble reviews the iTero scan, facial photographs, and anterior intraoral photo to develop a treatment plan. Dr. Varble discusses the treatment plan with the parents, and addresses any specific questions or concerns before the Treatment Coordinator reviews the treatment plan details with the parent/patient directly.

Treatment plan & cost
10 Minutes
The remaining 15 minutes of the appointment are dedicated to a discussion of treatment plan details and cost with the family, led by the Treatment Coordinator. During this time, the TC reviews the treatment plan, financials and insurance, and the expectations required of the patient prior to beginning treatment.
Total time at the office: about 30 minutes

A few things to bring or have ready
None of this is required to book the visit. But having these ready makes the appointment go smoother and gets you to your treatment plan faster.
WHAT COMES AFTER
Treatment that doesn't take over your schedule.
Once you start with us, most check-ins happen from home. Our DentalMonitoring program lets you scan with your phone weekly, while Dr. Varble personally reviews your progress.
It means about half the office visits of a traditional practice, less time pulled away from school or work, and treatment that fits into the life you already have.
